Come join us for a creative evening during our Hanging Basket & Candle Workshop! In this hands-on experience, you’ll create both a lush hanging basket and a custom-made candle. Geske's Gardens is back again this year to help us create a beautiful basket for the spring!
We'll begin with a brand new candle experience, sand wax candles! You will be able to select from an array of fragrances and colors to create a candle that complements your home. Remember filling those bottles and jars with colorful sand at the county fair as a kid? We're bringing it back but making it BETTER! We will be using colorful wax to fully customize the look and smell of your candle! Layer it up and get creative! You will choose from a rainbow of hues to create your very own customized candle. We'll have thirty different scents to make your candle truly a one of a kind! What's even better, you can LAYER your scents with each color!!
Next, we'll shift gears and dive into planting! Geske's will teach you how to design and plant your own hanging basket, choosing from a variety of plants and flowers to make it uniquely yours. Whether you prefer vibrant blooms or elegant greenery, our gardening experts will guide you through planting and care techniques to help your basket thrive.
You may choose to take your basket with you, OR Geske Gardens will take your basket with them back to their greenhouse to grow out until around Mother's Day.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with:
A beautifully planted hanging basket ready to brighten any space.
A custom-scented candle to add warmth and ambiance to your home.
Expert tips on plant care and candle maintenance.

Once your order has been submitted we immediately begin the process of production of your projects. Due to the customization of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS and NO CREDITS FOR SPECIALITY WORKSHOPS AND OFFSITE EVENTS! However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice, your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for future workshops and must be used within 60 days. Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT get a credit for a future workshop! Please email us (hammerandstainstateline@gmail.com) to cancel. If you do not show up for a workshop that you have a spot reserved, you forfeit your payment. If you have to cancel, we can hold your project for up to 60 days for you to come in and complete at one of our Open Paints/Studio times or to bring home and complete.
