05-13-25 Handcrafted Flower Presses: A Creative Workshop 6pm

Discover the joy of preserving botanical beauty in our 'Build Your Own Flower Press' workshop. We will guide you through the process of constructing a traditional flower press. You will learn the fundamentals of flower pressing, including; flower selection, pressing techniques, and how to utilize your pressed flowers in art and craft projects. All needed materials will be supplied, and you will leave the workshop with your very own handmade flower press.  Personalize your press with pre-cut stencils and a wide range of paint and stain colors. In addition, we'll be pressing multiple layers of flowers during the class, giving you a head start on creating a stunning collection of preserved blooms.

Class includes 1 customizable flower press, blank pages for pressing flowers, and fresh floral to start the process!

How to Register:

1. Choose your press size, 8x8" or 10x12" are the size options.

2. Indicate which design you would like.  Please refer to the photo graphic showing 8x8 and 10x12 options. 8x8 options are A-N, 10x12 options are 1-9.

3. Confirm and checkout

IMPORTANT INFO:

• Most of our projects are made from pine wood. Due to the nature of lumber, no board is perfect. We strive to pick the best boards available but natural wood will have slight imperfections. Please understand we cannot switch out your wood in class simply because it isn't perfect. 

Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT get a credit for a future workshop! Please email us (hammerandstainstateline@gmail.com) to cancel. If you do not show up for a workshop that you have a spot reserved, you forfeit your payment.  If you have to cancel we can hold your project for up to 60 days for you to come in and complete at one of our Open Paints/Studio times or to bring home.

Simple substitutions of words within the shown design and layout can generally be made at no additional charge. However, significant changes to our standard designs or special requests for a new design are considered custom and must be pre-approved and submitted at least 7 days prior to your event. If approved, a customization fee of $25 will apply.
