We are so excited to team up with Wicked Sweets by Kate for a fairy garden themed cake decorating workshop paired with a coordinating glass plate etching project from Hammer & Stain!
Participants will learn to stack, fill, crumb coat, and decorate a 6” two layer white cake with a combination of vanilla buttercream frosting and premade fairy garden decorations. Class will cover placing the cake on a board, adding frosting filling, stacking a 2nd layer, crumb coating, coloring buttercream, filling piping bags, and various techniques for piping the tree stump and fairy details. All materials and aprons will be provided. Participants will leave with their boxed/decorated cake, and all piping bags, tips, and couplers used in class. Workshop is suited for those 12 and up. Each person attending must be registered. Seating is limited. Registration closes June 19th.

Once your order has been submitted we immediately begin the process of production of your projects. Due to the customization of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS and NO CREDITS FOR SPECIALITY WORKSHOPS AND OFFSITE EVENTS! However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice, your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for future workshops and must be used within 60 days. Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT get a credit for a future workshop! Please email us (hammerandstainstateline@gmail.com) to cancel. If you do not show up for a workshop that you have a spot reserved, you forfeit your payment. If you have to cancel, we can hold your project for up to 60 days for you to come in and complete at one of our Open Paints/Studio times or to bring home and complete.
